This Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Shrimp is juicy, buttery, and loaded with garlic and herbs. The rich lemon-butter sauce coats every shrimp, making this an easy dinner that tastes restaurant-worthy.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken or seafood broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Add the melted butter, broth, garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the Crockpot and stir.

Cover and cook the sauce on LOW for about 1 hour so the garlic and seasonings can develop their flavor.

Add the shrimp and gently toss until completely coated in the garlic-butter sauce.

Cover again and cook on HIGH for about 20–40 minutes, checking early, until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Avoid cooking them for several hours because shrimp can quickly become tough.

Finish with fresh parsley and an extra squeeze of lemon. Spoon plenty of the buttery garlic sauce over the shrimp before serving.

Serve with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread for soaking up that incredible sauce.
