These Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef Ribs are tender, juicy, and packed with rich savory flavor. Cooking them low and slow allows the meat to become incredibly soft while soaking up a buttery garlic sauce. It’s an easy Crockpot dinner that requires very little preparation.
Ingredients
- 3–4 lbs beef ribs
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for serving
Instructions
Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker and arrange the beef ribs on top.
Mix the beef broth, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, pepper, and a little salt. Pour the mixture evenly over the ribs.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the beef is very tender.
For an extra caramelized finish, carefully transfer the cooked ribs to a baking sheet, brush them with some of the Crockpot juices, and broil for 3–5 minutes.
Spoon the rich garlic-butter sauce over the ribs and finish with fresh parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread.
Tip: Cooking on LOW gives the ribs the best fall-apart texture and lets them absorb even more flavor.
